The beverage had a translucent deep red-brown hue and an aroma reminiscent of fruity dark chocolate. When chilled, the Shine Muscat notes were immediately apparent, delivering their signature aromatic, tropical quality. The natural sweetness of the black tea (Dimbula and Assam tea leaves from Sri Lanka and India) provided a smooth, rounded mouthfeel with no bitterness or astringency.

Flavour-wise, the Shine Muscat dominated from start to finish, with the black tea’s inherent fruitiness enhancing its depth. The grapefruit and green apple were indistinct but likely added dimension to the muscat’s bright, juicy profile. The overall effect was reminiscent of high-quality fruity dark chocolate—rich yet refreshing. The Shine Muscat lingered pleasantly in the aftertaste, making this an exceptionally well-balanced, unsweetened black tea.
