This is the UHA Mikakutō Puccho Juicy Arida Mikan. Collaborating with JA Arida, it utilises the juice of arida mikan from Wakayama Prefecture, known for their exceptional sweetness.

The candy had an opaque orange taffy with translucent chewy bits embedded within. Upon tasting, the taffy element offered a sweet mikan flavor, with a crisp sweetness and minimal acidity. In contrast, the translucent chewy bits provided a strong sourness and vibrant citrus note, reminiscent of citrus oils. When eaten together, these chewy bits enhanced the juicy mikan flavor, with the sweetness of the taffy balancing out the acidity, resulting in a cohesive overall taste. These used the same fruit as in the UHA Mikakutō Puccho Premium Shūhin Mix, but the translucent chewy bits featured a more sour mikan flavour that better balanced the sweet mikan flavour in the taffy.

This UHA Puccho Juicy Arida Mikan contained 50 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Hong Kong in 2023.
