This is the Iced Peach Jasmine Black Tea (venti size, $7.00.55) from Starbucks. Despite its name suggesting black tea, the beverage actually combined oolong tea with peach jasmine sauce. Additionally, contrary to the official description, the prepared drink lacked a garnish of rose petals.

The beverage displayed a visual gradient, starting with a red-pink peach jasmine sauce at the base and transitioning to amber-hued oolong tea, topped with foam created by blending the tea. However, significant stirring was required to mix the sauce at the base with the tea, and the yellow peach chunks were too large to fit through the straw. Whether consumed with a straw or directly from the cup, the peach chunks were left for the finish after consuming all the liquid.

Setting aside logistical concerns, the oolong itself offered a creamy texture with a subtle roasty flavour that complemented the peach syrup. The jasmine notes enhanced the floral quality of the peach, resulting in a balanced sweetness reminiscent of the Kōcha Kaden Craftea Zeitaku Peach Tea. Overall, it was a pleasant peach-flavoured iced tea, but not something we would choose over the more readily available bottled Kōcha Kaden Craftea Zeitaku Peach Tea.
