We’re fans of Indomie mi goreng, so we snapped up these Chitato Indomie Mi Goreng Fried Noodles Flavour when we spotted them on sale at our local Woolworths at a reasonable price ($1.30) compared to what we’d seen in Asian supermarkets.

These chips are crinkle cut, dusted with an orange-red coloured seasoning and have a savoury soy sauce aroma that also came through initially on eating. As the flavour developed, the prominent garlic that defines mi goreng came through in the body before spicy sambal notes emerged in the finish with a respectable heat that burns gently in the aftertaste along with the lingering garlic flavour. We’d eat these again in a heartbeat.

This Chitato Indomie Mi Goreng Fried Noodles Flavour contained 55 g. It was produced in Indonesia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2009.
