This is the Asahi Calpis Blend Rich Red Grape, a beverage made with up to 10% juice from three types of red grapes: Kyohō, Concord, and Cabernet.

The drink had an opaque pastel mauve colour and a sweet, inviting grape aroma. When consumed chilled, the flavour began with a pronounced sweetness complemented by the signature yoghurt-like tang of Calpis. Midway through each sip, the grape flavour deepened, evoking the rich, full-bodied notes of Kyohō and Concord grapes. Towards the finish, a juicy acidity emerged, accompanied by a subtle astringency characteristic of Cabernet grapes.

The blend of the three grape varieties created a layered and luxurious flavour profile, balancing sweetness with complexity. This beverage was rich, refreshing, and worth repurchasing.
