Kettle Chip Company released their Native Flavour Collection in 2022 to ‘honour the unique and tasty ingredients that we find in our own plentiful land — from the top end to the apple isle and the great plains in between’. This is the Lemon Myrtle & Roast Chicken flavour.

The chips were dusted in a yellow and black powdered seasoning and had the typical aroma of chicken-flavoured chips. Upon tasting, the chicken flavour came through with an enjoyable richness — similar to the usual chicken-flavoured chips above the house brand range — with the lemon myrtle bringing a lemon flavour that was slightly sweet, zesty, and creamy without additional acidity. Overall, the flavour pairing with the lemon myrtle was elegantly executed and elevated the ordinary chicken flavour.
