When consumed chilled, it delivered a notably lacklustre and disappointing experience. The milk tea component was thin and watery, compounding an already pronounced astringency from the jasmine green tea that edged into bitterness. The overall flavour closely resembled the café’s other green tea drinks, with no discernible lychee character integrated into the tea itself. Any sense of lychee appeared confined to the fruit pieces settled at the base, which did not travel up the narrow straw provided, leaving the core drinking experience effectively lychee-free. Even at the discounted price, the drink failed to justify its cost.

Overall, this was a poorly executed lychee milk tea, undermined by a weak, watery base, excessive astringency, and minimal flavour integration.
