These are the Orion Turtle Chips Flaming Mala.

These chips had the same sweet corn chip aroma as the rest of the flavours in the brand. Upon tasting, the first chip had the same audible light crispness and gave an initial sweetness before a distinct savoury spiced flavour emerged in the body and lingered through to the finish. The first chip did not deliver any of the promised heat. Subsequent chips, though, did build to an enjoyable, gentle burn that spread through the back of the mouth, but it was nowhere near the extent that we’d describe as ‘flaming’ or ‘OMG!! Hot!’ as suggested by the packaging because the heat did not slow us down in the slightest.

To date, this was our favourite flavour of these chips as the savoury quality restrained the rather underlying sweetness in the chip base that was too pronounced in the other flavours.
