This is the Mango Pomelo Sago (45 HKD/9 AUD, fixed ice, less sweet). It consisted of sago, red pomelo flesh, mango nectar and coconut cream.
The drink was an opaque yellow hue with clear sago and white coconut cream specks. Upon tasting, it had a vibrant mango flavour, offering sweet and lively tropical notes, complemented by subtle coconut undertones that softened any residual tartness from the mango. The sago, generously present, contributed its delightful bouncy texture in every sip. While the pomelo’s presence was more subdued, the mango nectar remained the primary driver, occasionally punctuated by gentle pops of citrus acidity from the pomelo.
In summary, this mango pomelo sago proved enjoyable; however, we did find ourselves missing the fresh mango and mango coconut jelly elements present in the version from Tiger Sugar in Australia.
