This is the Asia Sarsae.

The beverage was an opaque brown-black with a sweet wintergreen aroma and weak carbonation. Consumed chilled, sweet caramel notes came through at the head of each sip before developing with subtle wintergreen notes in the body that disappeared swiftly just as suddenly as they appeared. A brief hint of acidity emerged before a sugary (rather than the initial caramel) sweetness dominated the finish but mainly was cleared by the bubbles to our relief. Overall, this was a disappointing sarsaparilla that lacked any hint of liquorice sharpness to elevate the subtle wintergreen notes, which were mellow in the aroma yet even more nuanced on tasting. It was not a beverage worth repurchasing.
This Asia Sarsaparilla contained 1.25 L. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
