This is the Futaba Tochiaika no Kisetsu Tochiaika & Strawberry Milk, a frozen dessert featuring 5% juice from Tochiaika strawberries.
Each box contained six ice bars: three Tochiaika and three Strawberry Milk.

Tochiaka
The ice bar presented with an even medium-light red hue. Initial contact delivered an immediate sweet-tart strawberry profile alongside a smooth, slightly firm exterior that yielded readily on biting. Through the mid-palate, as the ice bar softened, the strawberry flavour broadened across the palate with a natural fruit profile and restrained sweetness. The texture became increasingly creamy with a soft, lightly aerated consistency, sitting closer to a sorbet than a traditional ice block. While the strawberry flavour remained clearly identifiable throughout, it lacked the bright, juicy intensity found in the Akagi GariGari-kun strawberry range, instead favouring a softer, creamier expression.

Strawberry Milk
The Strawberry Milk variant presented with a pale pastel pink hue and a similarly smooth, aerated texture. The added milk component produced an even creamier mouthfeel, gently rounding the tartness of the strawberry into a nostalgic strawberry milk profile without introducing overt dairy richness. The fruit remained recognisable, though the milk base softened both the acidity and overall flavour intensity, resulting in a mellow, approachable finish.
Overall, a frozen fruit dessert with a layered flavour progression and cohesive textural development, resulting in two well-balanced strawberry interpretations that prioritise smoothness and natural flavour over intensity. While both flavours clearly expressed strawberry, a stronger and more persistent fruit character would have better withstood the muting effect of the frozen temperature.
