This is the Woongjin Morning Rice Sweet Potato, featuring purple sweet potato blended with a rice milk base.

The beverage presented with an opaque pastel mauve-purple hue. Aroma opened with a rich earthy sweetness that was unmistakably reminiscent of purple sweet potato.
Initial contact delivered immediate notes of purple sweet potato, beginning with a mellow sweetness alongside a creamy body with a viscosity noticeably thicker than water. Through the mid-palate, the sweet potato character deepened in richness, developing roasted and lightly caramelised nutty notes reminiscent of chestnut. The flavour closely resembled finely mashed purple sweet potato in liquid form, retaining a natural character rather than presenting as a confectionery interpretation. Despite the fuller texture, the beverage remained remarkably smooth, with no graininess detected on the palate.
Towards the finish, the sweet potato notes gradually receded, allowing the creamy qualities of the rice milk base to become more apparent. The rice provided a gentle sweetness and soft cereal character that complemented the sweet potato without competing for attention. A slight astringency emerged as the liquid cleared, helping prevent the richer flavours from becoming overly heavy. In the aftertaste, the sweet potato notes returned and lingered moderately long, reinforcing the product’s central flavour.
Overall, a ready-to-drink grain beverage with a rising flavour trajectory and highly cohesive texture integration, resulting in an authentic sweet potato-driven structure supported by a complementary and unobtrusive rice milk base.
