The weather’s felt so much more like summer than spring lately to drink tea. Thankfully though, the weather’s cooled down these past few days and I’ve been able to try this Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry tea.

This tea brews to a blood-red. It smells just like fresh blueberries when it’s brewing. Its taste has the sweetness of blueberries, but it doesn’t have quite the same punch I associate with fresh blueberries. It’s probably too much to expect tea to taste like liquid fresh fruit, right? If I wanted that, I’d juice fresh fruit.
The tea does leave an astringent sensation or dry aftertaste that I don’t usually get unless I’ve steeped green tea for too long, though. But that aside, it tastes just like how I’d expect blueberry tea to taste.
This Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry from the Fruit Tea Sampler contained 3 tea bags. It was packed in the Untied States of Australia and was purchased in Canberra, Australia in 2014 and gifted by family visiting New York, New York, the United States in 2016.
