This Nestlé KitKat Hokkaidō Melon & Mascarpone is a region limited flavour along with the Hokkaidō Red Bean. We picked this one up up during our trip to Hokkaidō in 2018.

Each box contained three individually sealed mini-bars.

Each mini-bar is a pastel orange colour and contained 1.2% marscapone powder and 0.6% melon powder flavouring both the cream sandwiching the wafers as well as the enrobing white chocolate.

These KitKat have a fresh aroma of sweet Hokkaidō melon. Upon tasting, mellow melon notes came through with a natural and mild sweetness and develop with notes of fresh and creamy mascapone cheese in the body. The melon flavour came to prominence in the finish for a sweet and fresh lingering aftertaste. Overall, the KitKat has an surprising depth of natural, ripe melon flavour and impressive creaminess.
