These Asahi Mintia Ume are ume flavoured sugarless mints that come in a 7 mm thick box. They get their ume flavour from artificial flavouring.

The mints are a round shape (7 mm in diameter and 3 mm in height) with an opaque white colour with light green specks. They have a fragrant sour ume aroma that came through initially with a bold yet enjoyable acidity at the head before balanced with a developing sweetness as the mint dissolves. The mints leave a gently cooling mouthfeel without minty flavour and takes up to 2 minutes to dissolve. We very much enjoy the more interesting flavours of mints in Japan compared to the ones in Australia.

This Asahi Mintia Ume contained 7 g or 50 tablets. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Kumamoto, Japan in 2019.
