D picked up these Chizzpa Chips Paprika in a small convenience store in Shin-Nakamise in Asakusa, curious about how they’d compare to similar crisps manufactured in Malaysia, including Pringles.

These crisps are dusted with a light orange seasoning, while the potato crisps themselves are a darker beige colour than Pringles. Upon tasting, the paprika flavour came through from the start of each bite before giving way to the potato flavour in the finish. Overall, these crisps are rather disappointing as the flavour lacked depth, being one-dimensional without any heat whatsoever.

This Chizzpa Chips Paprika contained 160 g. It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Asakusa, Tōkyō in 2019.
