This is the Eikokuya Kiwifruit Black Tea.

The tea is a tea bagged looseleaf black tea scented with kiwifruit.

Steeping for 3 minutes in 200 mL of water at 85ºC, the infusion was a clear amber colour with the characteristic heady aroma of black tea hiding only the slightest hint of tropical flavour behind. Served hot, the tropical notes of a ripe golden kiwifruit came through at the head of each sip with a clear, mellow sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel before the bolder notes of the black tea finish the tea with a slight astringency. The kiwifruit notes shine only when steeped at a lower temperature as a mouth puckering astringency and bitterness masks its delicate flavours at a higher temperature.

This Eikokuya Kiwifruit Black Tea contained 6 tea bags. The tea was sourced from Sri Lanka and was purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2014.
