This Ito En Ice Tea Peach Decaf is made with real peach juice (and flavour) and decaffeinated so suited to those quick tea fixes in the afternoon.

The tea is a transparent golden yellow colour with the sweetness and gentle tartness of a fresh peach. Served chilled, though, sweet sugary notes of green tea came through at the head of each sip with no astringency before a gentle acidity from the peach flavour emerged and builds in the body. As the peach notes recede in the finish, the sweetness returns and lingered with a sugary aftertaste long on the palate. Overall, the peach flavour comes across as quite natural while the tea has a more balanced sweetness than the Lipton equivalents, but could still use more restraint.
