Nespresso World Explorations Cadiz Espresso

This is the Nespresso World Explorations Cadiz Espresso, a limited edition coffee inspired by the Spanish Andalusian port city of Cadiz. The blend consists of equal parts Arabicas from Brazil and Robustas from India.

The coffee underwent a medium split roast, with the Robusta lightly roasted and the Arabica roasted longer and darker. It came in a silver capsule adorned with a white pattern and had an intensity rating of 8 out of 13.

Prepared as an espresso following Nespresso’s recommendations, the coffee had an almost opaque black-brown hue and a sweet, roasted, malted biscuity aroma. Served black with a 1:1 water to espresso ratio, it began with a delicate caramel sweetness, which slowly gave way to notes of malted cereal. Towards the finish, the caramel sweetness re-emerged with biscuity notes, followed by a lingering hint of cocoa in the finish. The coffee had a smooth, syrupy quality with minimal acidity and perfectly balanced bitterness and roastiness, making it worth repurchasing despite being a limited edition.

This Nespresso World Explorations Cadiz Espresso contained 52 g (5.2. g x 10 capsules). It was produced in Swizterland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
