Ginza offers a more polished, retail-focused environment, while Shinjuku operates at a faster pace, defined by transit volume, verticality, and late-hour activity. First stay (arrival night before Tōhoku):
The room was compact, with updated and plush linen, though the blanket was relatively thin. The proximity to the train station resulted in noticeable train noise throughout the night, manageable with earplugs.
Second stay (post-Tōhoku return):
The layout was more functional, without obstructive features, resulting in better usable space. Linen and water pressure remained consistent, and the individual split air conditioning allowed effective temperature control.
