‘Teaspresso’ is a recent range of teas at Come Buy that featured more nuanced teas than the regular black or green tea options. One such ‘teaspresso’ is this Comebuy Peach Oolong Tea. I’m a fan of oolong, and this tea is a clear golden brown. Served chilled, there are prominent notes of a slightly nutty oolong in the head before syrupy peach flavours that recall the overly ripe fruit emerged in the body before an astringent finish lingered long on the palate.
Overall, while notes of peach and oolong came through as promised, the flavour was rather one dimensional – there’s nothing particularly special or enjoyable about this tea.
