The drink was a translucent pale straw colour with aloe flecks suspended throughout and a sweet aloe nose. Served chilled, strong sweet notes of honey came through before the white grape-like flavour of aloe emerged prominently in the body. Together with the flecks of aloe, the mouthfeel of the drink was much like consuming a honey-sweet white grape juice with pulp and restrained acidity – a truly enjoyable and refreshing experience.
