This Whittaker’s Ghana Peppermint Block is described as a ‘beautiful contrast of rich 72% Ghanaian cocoa, dark robust chocolate with the clean, fresh and velvety peppermint fondant filling’.
The high cocoa content in the chocolate — the highest in the Whittaker’s range — gave a prominent bitterness that’s complemented well by a natural sweetness in the strong peppermint filling. The dark chocolate melts to smooth creaminess with the refreshing peppermint lingering pleasantly on the palate, giving the overall effect of an after-dinner mint of the highest grade.
This Whittaker’s Ghana Peppermint Block contained 220 g. It was produced in New Zealand and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
