This Queen Anne Dark Chocolate Raspberry Marshmallow Fish is another signature gift from colleagues in New Zealand. Starting with the earlier one, chocolate fish are ‘a common reward for a job well done well’ in Kiwi culture.
This one is handcrafted and gluten free. It’s a raspberry marshmallow (65%) coated in dark chocolate (35%) and around 15 cm in length.
The marshmallow fish has a bright raspberry flavour with a soft texture that’s a hint more moist than we’re accustomed but without being sticky. The sweetness, though, is almost overwhelming as there’s not enough bitterness from the dark chocolate to counter the sweetness. Overall, we enjoy the fruity flavour and the soft texture.
This Queen Anne Dark Chocolate Raspberry Marshmallow Fish contained 50 g. It was produced in New Zealand and received as a gift from colleagues visiting from Dunedin, New Zealand in 2019.
