This is the Tea Mates Peach Oolong ($8.00 for 2, including pineapple jelly, no ice, fixed sweetness). The drink was a translucent amber colour and a mellow aroma of yellow peach. Consumed chilled, tropical notes of yellow peach came through with the natural sweet and toasty notes of a medium bodied oolong. We weren’t asked about the level of sweetness desired in the drink and the subtlty of the sweetness suggests it’s from natural flavours of the tea, with the added hint of sweetness coming from the pineapple jelly. The jellies have an enjoyable konjac bounce with a gentle pineapple flavour. Overall, we enjoy this drink and consider it one of the more refined offerings at Tea Mates.
