Whenever I’m in the mood for peach flavoured foods, I gravitate towards Japanese or Japanese style products as they capture the crisper, juicier sweetness of white peaches grown in Japan. This is the Vita Japanese Style Peach Tea. It contained less than 0.1% peach juice from concentrate.
The tea is a semi-transparent dark amber colour with a gentle white peach aroma. Served chilled, the sweetness of the peach came through with a balanced fruitiness that’s somewhere between the earthiness of yellow peaches and the crisp, clear sweetness of white peaches. The black tea base came through mid-sip to add depth to the sweetness, before leaving a hint of peachy sweetness in the finish. This peach tea is enjoyably refreshing with a more balanced sweetness than peach teas in the West.
This Vita Japanese Style Peach Tea contained 250 ml. It was produced in Hong Kong and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
