This is the Teaser Snowy Peach ($8.80) which contained layers of sago, cubes of white peach in syrup, white peach slushy, more cubes of white peach and finally, topped with coconut cream.
Consumed chilled and mixed, the notes of white peach came through with its characteristic fresh sweetness, while the sago brought a bouncy chewiness that contrasts well with the firm cubes of white peach. The white peach cubes are likely canned and the source of the peach syrup, which amplifies the natural sweetness of the drink from the peach cubes themselves. The coconut cream adds an enjoyable and complimenting creaminess without adding a dairy flavour. I’m a fan of the range of textures and freshness of this fruity creamy drink.
