The chips were a bright yellow colour, dusted in an orange-red coloured seasoning, and have a rich tomato aroma. Upon tasting, the tangy notes of the roast tomato came through bright at the head of each bite and develop with a very notable sweetness into the finish, while the tortilla base gave an audible crunch and a wheaty earthiness that complements the roast tomato. That said, it lacked the satisfying crispness of both potato chips and corn chips, and its prominent sweetness does not quite hit that crispy savoury snack spot.
