This is the Kettle Chip Company Chunky Chilli Aioli, a limited edition flavour in their more premium thick cut range.
The chips were sliced extra thick and covered in a bright red-orange seasoning with a sharp, tangy aroma. Upon tasting, an initial tanginess developed with a spicy heat that’s notably warming while deeply savoury notes of the garlic came through and emerge with a distinct creaminess through the bite. The overall flavour does indeed capture the flavour of chilli aioli, right down to its warmth, tanginess and critically, its creaminess. For those after a bolder chilli flavour, the original Kettle Chilli would be the more warming option.
