This is the Coca-Cola Jeong Gwong Ceylon Lemon Tea, a variation on the original lemon tea and a comparison to the version by Vita.
The tea is an opaque deep red colour with a sweet aroma with sweet citrus tea notes. Served chilled, the sweet and fruity notes of the Ceylon base came through prominently at the head of each sip and persist throughout the sip even as the lemon notes emerged in the body with an enjoyable clear sweetness and gentle acidity before a clean aftertaste. The lemon flavour was natural with the sweetness and acidity well balanced and the notable presence of Ceylon adding depth to the tea flavour. While the original Vita version is intense in flavour and sweetness, this one gave the experience of a more refined ‘cleaner’ refreshment.
This Coca-Cola Jeong Gwong Ceylon Lemon Tea contained 250 ml. It was produced in Hong Kong and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
