This is the Nestlé Mint Cookie Fudge.
It consisted of four wafer fingers topped with mint fudge and cookie crumbs, covered in milk chocolate.
These KitKat have a bright mint aroma. Upon tasting, the wafers give an initial crunch that’s cushioned by the thick mint fudge. The sweet cocoa notes of the milk chocolate came through on the first contact with the palate. This is followed swiftly by the fudge melting to diffuse a very strong and bold mint flavour that dominates the rest of the bite to the exclusion of the milk chocolate. Overall, the mouthfeel was very smooth, but the moreish crunch of the original KitKat is missing.
This KitKat recalled the Mint Cream & Cookie Smash from 2017 where the dark chocolate held its own to the boldness of the mint.
This Nestlé KitKat Cookie Collision contained 45 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
