This is the Machi Machi Oolong Milk Tea and Coffee Jelly Fusion ($8.50, regular, fixed sweetness, fixed (no) ice). It consisted of an oolong tea base with coffee jelly and topped with cheese foam.
The drink was a beautiful gradient with a dark brown base with a muddied middle beneath an off-white at the top. Consumed chilled before stirring, the oolong tea delivered a deep roasted flavour that’s enhanced by the bouncy coffee jelly. The cream cheese foam was salty and a bit funky on its own, but worked well when stirred in and delivered the usual flavour of an oolong milk tea. The coffee jelly was bold on its own, yet the saltiness from the cream cheese foam dampened the bitterness and enhances its natural sweetness.
Overall, the drink was a very enjoyable and unique offering of bubble tea.
