This is the Pringles Smokin’ Cajun Spice.
Upon tasting, a smoky, earthy flavour reminiscent of garlicky corn chips with paprika emerged at the forefront of each chip, persisting into the body. A robust blend of spices, notably including hints of onion and thyme, followed, delivering a warmly savoury taste. Initially, the cajun spice appeared to lack significant fiery heat, but the peppery notes of cumin surprised us by emerging at the end of each chip, gradually building to a manageable and steady burn after a few chips. The spices’ flavours remained distinct and enjoyable throughout. While we cannot assess its authenticity in capturing the Cajun flavour of Louisiana, we appreciated the smokiness and moderate heat of these chips, although we still favour the sharper taste of the Sizzlin’ Chipotle and Sour Cream released as part of the same series.
This Pringles Smokin’ Cajun Spice contained 118 g. It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
