This is the UHA Mikakutō Cororo Fuwakoro Strawberry. The ‘fuwakoro’ series is a variation of the original Cororo, characterized by its fluffy texture.

Each bag contained seven gummies that were shaped like small sausages with a beige hue, measuring approximately 1.5 cm in length and 1 cm in diameter and emitted a vibrant strawberry aroma.

Upon tasting, the outer membrane crisply yielded to reveal the novel ‘fluffy’ yet resilient texture of the candy. This unique texture imparted a certain bounciness akin to that of meat sausage, though naturally accompanied by a fruity flavour. The strawberry purée incorporated into the airy interior contributed a vibrant strawberry flavour. With each successive chew, the candy gradually released a richer, sweet strawberry flavour as it melted on the palate. While these candies may not boast the most appealing visual appearance, they undeniably succeeded in encapsulating the essence of fresh strawberries within a fluffy texture.
This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Fuwakoro Strawberry contained 30 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
