Nippon Yell Gummy Nagasaki Biwa

This is the Nippon Yell Gummy Nagasaki Biwa, made with juice from loquats grown in Nagasaki Prefecture.

Each gummy was opaque orange, about 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height, with a sweet, earthy aroma similar to apricot. The top had a jelly-like softness, while the base was firmer and more bouncy. The flavour offered a fruity sweetness with mild apricot-like notes, accompanied by a subtle tangy and floral citrus quality in the finish, similar to nishiki cherries. Although still mild compared to other fruit-flavoured gummies, these provided a more intense loquat taste than the sugar-preserved Jupon Kazuno Kajitsu no Sato Biwa.

This Nippon Yell Gummy Nagasaki Biwa contained 40 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
