This is the Nong Fu Spring Tea π Pomelo Green Tea, made with a minimum green and black tea concentration of 200 mg/kg and at least 2% pomelo juice concentrate.
The drink had a clear, golden-yellow hue with a fragrant floral citrus aroma, reminiscent of the Suntory Iyemon Yuzu Scented Green Tea. Served chilled, it opened with a mellow sweetness that quickly developed into floral citrus notes, evoking the juice of yellow pomelo. Mid-sip, the green tea’s sweet toasted flavour emerged, accompanied by a subtle hint of astringency. The pomelo fragrance persisted through to the finish and lingered lightly in the aftertaste without added sweetness.
Overall, the blend of green tea and floral citrus created a refreshing balance, with a flavour profile reminiscent of Suntory Iyemon Yuzu Scented Green Tea, despite the use of different citrus fruits and a touch more sweetness. It is worth repurchasing.
