This beverage featured an opaque dark beige to light tan hue with a drinking yoghurt aroma complemented by notes of juicy grape. On tasting, a white grape sweetness emerged at the head of each sip, developing into a juicy yet crisp tropical acidity reminiscent of ripe Shine Muscat grapes. The fermented tartness typical of drinking yoghurt was present mid-sip, remaining in the background and enhancing the juiciness of the grape flavour while balancing its sweetness. In the latter half of the sip, an astringency became noticeable, lingering in the finish alongside a faint Shine Muscat note.
Overall, this was a refreshing yoghurt drink, capturing the fruity character of a flavoured Asahi Calpis while also offering the more pronounced acidity and fermented notes of a Yakult.
