This is the Nong Fu Spring Tea π Lemon Black Tea, made with a minimum black tea concentration of 200 mg/kg and at least 2% lemon juice concentrate.
The beverage had a clear golden yellow-brown hue with a sweet-tart lemon aroma, reminiscent of the Hong Kong-style lemon black tea exemplified by Vita Lemon Tea. The lemon flavour emerged immediately at the start of each sip, delivering a refreshing, moderate acidity balanced by a mellow sweetness. In the second half of the sip, the black tea became more prominent, without bitterness but developing a notable astringency that carried through to the finish and lingered in the aftertaste.
Overall, this was a refreshing lemon black tea with a bright, natural lemon flavour and a more balanced sweetness than Vita Lemon Tea. However, it lacked the added depth found in Nong Fu Spring Tea π Citrus Pu’er Lemon Tea.
