This is the Nong Fu Spring Tea π Citrus Pu’er Lemon Tea, made with a minimum pu-er and green tea concentration of 200 mg/kg and at least 1% lemon juice concentrate and orange peel.
The beverage had a transparent red-brown hue and a bright citrus aroma, distinctly featuring dried orange peel. Consumed chilled, the dried orange peel was immediately noticeable at the start of each sip, adding aromatic depth to the usual earthiness of the pu’er tea base. Mid-sip, juicier notes of lemon emerged, accompanied by a rich sweetness. The sweet tartness intensified towards the finish, reminiscent of Vita Lemon Tea and without lingering aftertaste or astringency. The pu’er tea and lemon occupied equal presence, with the deep earthy quality of the pu’er balanced by the mellow sweetness and aromatic citrus flavour. Overall, this beverage was refreshing and worth repurchasing for its affordability and flavour.
This Nong Fu Spring Tea π Citrus Pu’er Lemon Tea contained 500 ml. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
