This is the Baixiang Peach Oolong Tea. It featured peach juice concentrate and presented with a transparent dark yellow-brown hue and a fragrant aroma of white peach.
Consumed chilled, it opened with a bold, juicy, and floral white peach flavour, which gave way mid-sip to a noticeable astringency. Roasted oolong notes began to emerge at this point, with the sweetness of the peach receding. Toward the finish, the tea became more astringent, though notably without developing any bitterness. A fruity juiciness lingered alongside the oolong’s roasted character.
Despite the astringency, the combination of bright peach and well-defined oolong made this a distinctive and enjoyable beverage—well worth purchasing.
