Despite packaging that claims it contains no fruit juice, the ingredients list includes oolong tea, strawberry juice, soy milk, and dairy milk.
The beverage had an opaque, dusky pink hue and a fragrant, slightly tangy strawberry aroma. Consumed chilled, it delivered the experience of a drinkable dessert—smooth, slightly thickened in consistency, and reminiscent in texture of a lightly enriched soy milk. The initial sip presented a mellow sweetness that quickly bloomed into a juicier and more intense strawberry flavour, reaching a level of richness characteristic of sweetened strawberry confections. The oolong remained in the background, surfacing gently in the finish with a fruit-forward character free from tannins or bitterness. A faint note of tofu lingered on the palate in the aftertaste, grounding the overall flavour profile. While novel and clearly positioned as a dessert beverage, the sweetness may be overwhelming for some. Worth sampling for curiosity, though not necessarily one for repeat purchase.
