Unlike conventional herbal drinks that tend to be murky, bitter, or pungent, this formulation is designed to be clear, mild, and easily drinkable while retaining its purported health benefits.
This grape version was transparent and colourless, with a notably synthetic grape aroma—sharp and artificial. On tasting, the mouthfeel was exceptionally smooth and slightly viscous, characteristic of this brand’s line. The grape flavour, though present, was more subdued than the aroma suggested. It retained its artificiality but presented with a rounded edge, softened by the beverage’s pronounced sweetness.
The overall flavour profile strongly resembled grape-flavoured cough syrup, both in taste and texture, though without the medicinal bitterness. While lacking carbonation, the drink delivered a distinct cooling sensation on the palate, adding a refreshing quality that lingered briefly after each sip.
