Pleased with their Osmanthus Blossoms at Tea Journal, I returned for their Osmanthus Pu’er, which is said to be good for insomniac relief.
The tea is tea bagged blend of dried organic osmanthus flowers with pu’er. It’s prepared by steeping one tea bag in water at 85℃ for 2 minutes up to 4 to 5 times.

Consumed hot, the tea has a gentle, clear floral sweetness with a hint of dried plum from the osmanthus before the smooth mouthfeel continues to an earthy finish characteristic of pu’er and leaves a clean aftertaste. As with most pu’er, there is no astringency or bitterness.
This Osmanthus Pu’er was purchased at Tea Journal located at Ground Floor, 382 Sussex Street, Haymarket NSW 2000 in June 2019.
