This is the Bubble Nini Tea So Matcha Love ($6.50, +$1.00 for large, no ice, no sugar). The drink is layered with matcha pearls, full cream milk and pure matcha. Consumed chilled, the vegetal notes of the matcha came through with moderate prominence at the start of each sip. It developed with a gentle astringency and a full bodied mouthfeel from the full cream milk before the pearls deliver a delectable bounce and a gentle sweet matcha flavour that holds its own against the matcha milk tea while also providing a pleasant contrast to the unsweetened tea.
