This beverage featured a vibrant red-purple hue, with the slushie base made from red grape juice delivering an immediate burst of sweet, musky grape flavour. Cubes of muscat grapes added a contrasting touch of sweet acidity, balancing the overall sweetness. As the slushie melted, the jasmine tea became more pronounced, contributing delicate dewy floral notes that complemented the toasted green tea aroma in the finish. Notably, the tea profile remained smooth, without astringency or bitterness.
Overall, this was a refreshing and well-balanced grape beverage that highlighted the natural flavours of both red and green grapes while offering enjoyable textures. However, as a grape-based “bubble tea,” its flavour profile was not particularly distinct from a standard grape slushie with fresh grapes. Given the price, it would not necessarily warrant a repurchase.
