This is the Camellia Milk Tea ($6.50, +$1.00 for large, +$1.00 for sago, regular sweetness, regular ice) from Milk Flower. It’s a green tea flavoured with the scent of camellia blossoms.
The drink was a beige colour with sago at the base. Consumed chilled, notes of sweetened green tea dominated the head of each sip before an earthy floral quality emerged in the body and resolved towards the finish with a woodsy and slightly musty quality to vividly recall the sweet fragrance of scented camellia blossoms (not all camellias have fragrance). Leaving a clean aftertaste, the milk tea itself was rich and smooth, and an enjoyable variation on the usual offerings for bubble tea.
