This is Dear Mita ($8.00 for two drinks (tea, milk tea or tea latte), +$0.50 for pearls for each drink, 1/8 sugar, no ice). It’s described as having a sencha base with Kyōto peach spice along with a dash of milk/creamer as we ordered the drink as a milk tea. Consumed chilled, distinct fruity notes of peach came through fragrant and slightly floral without artificiality before the addition of the milk adds just a touch of creaminess that takes the edge of the vegetal sencha. The overall mouthfeel was thin, but the punchy flavour of both the peach and the sencha is impressive and enjoyable. The pearls were a touch undercooked with far too much bite in the centre, but at $4.50 for two large sized teas with toppings we weren’t too fussed.
