This is the Teaser Grateful Grape ($7.20, regular sugar, regular ice), which consisted of a jasmine green tea base, grape and aloe vera.
Consumed chilled, it’s layered structure gave it visual interest, while the dewy notes of the jasmine give the drink a floral undertone that complements well with the strong grape flavour that begins with a familiar syrupy intensity before being restrained into a natural flavour by the brighter acidity of the generous grape flesh. The grape flesh is firm and crisp, while the aloe vera is slightly softer. Overall, this is a very enjoyable, fresh and fruity drink, with the only misgiving being that the trouble that some of the chunks of grape had coming up the straw.
