This Minor Figures Coffee Nitro Cold Brew Black uses a mixed heirloom varietal of coffee from Sidamo, Ethiopia and contained no added sugar. Being nitrogen-infused, the can opens with a loud crack to reveal a coffee that’s an opaque dark brown colour with an acidic berry coffee aroma. Consumed chilled, the berry notes came through loudly, recalling tart cranberries, to deliver a persisting acidity that’s barely restrained by a natural sweetness in the coffee and a distinct lack of any bitterness. The packaging describes this flavour as super refreshing, but I find it remarkably unpleasant both in aroma and taste.
