Suntory Boss Coffee is Japan’s most popular brand of canned coffee and it finally made it’s way to the Australian market in November 2019. This Suntory Boss Coffee Iced Long Black is flash brewed before chilled rapidly and stored in steel cans.
The coffee has an opaque brown-black colour with a rich aroma of roasted coffee with a notable acidity. Consumed chilled, the coffee had a prominent acidity initially before rich notes of roasted coffee came through in the body with minimal bitterness despite the absence of sweetener. The acidity returns in the finish, but still does not lend itself towards either berry or pome characteristics and remains rather one-dimensional with the slightest floral hint before a long and enjoyable aftertaste of roasted coffee.
This Suntory Boss Coffee Iced Long Black contained 237 ml. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
